The 2009 New Minimum Security Facility for Brazos County is a new facility housing low risk work release inmates. The facility features two 64 bed pods, multiuse room, public toilet, processing room,  jailer offices, and two outdoor recreation yards. Designed for TAS Compliance, TCJS, and the 2003 International Building Code. The project was completed within a six-month schedule with a construction cost of $1,200,000 yielding a cost per bed of $9,375. Parking and site improvements were incorporated into the design. Design/Build delivery method.
