This project involved renovations of the existing facility to lab research space. The facility was originally designed for biological teaching space, our team reviewed the construction and developed a conceptual design to meet each of the users needs. Included in the laboratory space are Bio safety II Cabinets, dark rooms, cold rooms, new suspended ceiling, lighting, plumbing and upgrades to the HVAC. We evaluated the restrooms and egress in the building to be ADA compliant for the change in use. Our team worked with a contractor, Design/Builder and Facilities Services Shops.
